We loaded the bus at 5 pm tonight. The only glitch was the autoclave weighed too much so at the last minute we had to abandon the plywood box Tom Shemek worked so hard to build. We took it down to UPS who are masters at packing so now it's bubble wrapped in exactly the right size box. We'll meet at Federated Church at 1:30 am, drive to Omaha with breakfast from Kathy Shemek, meet the Continental 'group representative' and get our tubs boarded. We leave at 5:45, change planes in Houston and land in Managua a 12:30. Then we go to La Costena (the local airport) and get on the 2:30 flight to Puerto Cabezas. The plans have changed a couple times, but it looks like this is how it lines up. We'll spend all day Friday working with the Redding, California surgical team and learn everything we can about the OR and hospital there. Saturday will be clinic, Sunday church, Monday-Friday work. Home on Saturday. Pray for us. NN

For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
