We made it to Houston via Dallas and met up with a portion of our team at the gate of Qatar airways. The flight attendants wear little hats and this is one of those bigger planes with two isles. We in for a 14 1/2 hr flight to Dohu, Qatar and then delay 9 hours and on to Kathmadu. The rest of our team will meet us there in Saturday. We've got someone living at our house while we're gone and others looking after the house and the yard in addition to living next door to my sister and having the ever vigilant dog guarding the place so I think we're covered!
Everyone in this picture is an Otolaryngoligist with the exception of John, but fortunately he can speak ENTese.
Here is a picture of the inside of the plane. There is a pillow, blanket, socks, ear plugs, a towelette for your hands, earphones and a little wash kit with a toothbrush, etc.
