PENSACOLA

John's first day with the Red Cross included driving an ERV (Emergency Response Vehicle) full of bulk food and water from Orlando across the Florida panhandle to Pensacola. They are taking supplies toward the latest hurricane that is to land tonight. His driving partner is a retired guy from Sioux City. He's not sure what tomorrow holds. They are expecting 90 mph winds and water along the coast will rise as much as 11 feet in some places.
They are getting gas somewhere near Pensacola after driving 450 miles or so.
